About Our Project

Atıktan Sanata, Sanatla Kaynaşmaya


The “From Waste to Art – Inclusion Through Art” project, (2023-2-TR01-KA220-SCH-000170114) funded by Turkish National Agency under the Erasmus+ KA220-SCH program, aims to foster inclusivity and environmental awareness through innovative educational practices. Running from August 2024 to August 2026, this initiative brings together schools and organisations from Turkey, Poland, Slovenia, and Bulgaria.

Key Objectives:
– Enhance teachers’ skills in inclusive education practices.
– Promote collaboration between students with special needs, their peers, and parents to create inclusive communities.
– Raise awareness about sustainability by transforming waste materials into artistic creations.

Core Activities:
The project includes teacher training on inclusive education, workshops for parents and students, an e-learning platform for wider educational access, and creative activities to produce art from recycled materials. It also features a recommendation report for policymakers to embed these practices into broader educational frameworks.

Outcomes:
– Comprehensive training modules for teachers and parents.
– Lesson plans and an accessible e-learning platform.
– Increased environmental consciousness and inclusivity in educational settings.
